I had the great pleasure of admiring these fabrics in real life at Amanda's spring market booth, so it was great fun to sew with them as soon as I returned back home. I picked the red/pink colourway to make a cushion inspired by windmills in the desert.
I hope you like my 'Desert Windmills' design! If you would like to make a cushion too (or perhaps a mini quilt, or even a big quilt!), I have written up the pattern which is now in my Etsy shop.

ReplyDeleteSedef, your cushion is beautiful. I adore it. It really shows off this incredible fabric. Thank you so much for sharing the pattern. I really want to make a little quilt.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your blog and appreciate your enthusiasm
Beautiful pattern and a great way to feature these lovely prints. I definitely agree that windmills are a large part of my desert landscape, and the color tones makes me think of them spinning at sunset.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours, and I love this design. x
