Bittersweet Blog Tour

Today is my stop on the Bittersweet blog tour, the latest fabric line by the amazing Sue Daley of Sue Daley Designs for Riley Blake. I had so much fun working with this vibrant, sunny collection!

One of the very first things I pinned on Pinterest when I started to sew was these little houses which is a free pattern by Retro Mama. I had completely forgotten about them until I was reorganising my sewing room recently and came across the printed pattern, forgotten at the bottom of a box. I am so glad I finally got around to making them!

I only had a 5" square charm pack of Bittersweet to work with, and the roof piece in the pattern is slightly bigger, but I found a 5" piece to be just big enough for the roof. So not only is this pattern free, super cute, but it's charm pack friendly as well!

And this house below... I love the colours in this one. Maybe because I'm so partial to pink!

Bittersweet is now available in fabric stores. You can see the full range of prints in this collection on Sue's website. So bright and pretty!

Here's a full schedule of all the bloggers taking part in the tour, so you can visit them for more Bittersweet inspiration. Thank you for visiting!
